Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has introduced a change to visa issuance policies of a visitor visa, effective November 6, 2024. Now, each visit visa application will be subjected to an individualized assessment. Immigration officers will choose to issue either a single-entry or multiple-entry visa based on their evaluation of the application, and they have the flexibility to set validity periods they deem appropriate for each case.
